Molly in the car

Molly had to wake up early this morning for the car trip and wasn't too happy about it :-)
In this picture you can see how she often folds her hands when sitting.. It is something my dad does as well:-)) she had done since she was a baby..:-)

A lesson learned

As I wrote on Facebook: I was busy with knitting this super sweet cardigan with a lace back. You knit the lace panel first and block it to 13 inches. I worked on it until 23:00 yesterday night and blocked it looking forward to knitting on it in the car today( 5 hour drive)
Well... It blocked out too 20 inches instead of 13!

So at 05:00 in the morning I was winding this yarn into a skein in a slight state of panic so I would have something to knit on!
So the lesson learned: when going on a trip with some super knitting time in the car, always have a back-up plan for when the project you are working on kicks your ass!
So I starting on a pair of socks now.. :-)

Mystery Quilt part 3!

It is a bit early but here is part 3. I am going away the whole day tomorrow to see Molly's grandmother and I thought better too early than too late:-)

Again it is an insane amount of small pieces and to be honest, I am a bit behind myself..but I am hoping to catch up soon...

Wanted: test seamstresses ...

Hi!

I am looking for 3 special people:

A dutch person ( not anymore see edit att the bottom) , A native English speaker and Swedish person. 

Why?

I have made a new bag pattern and I would like to have some test-seamstresses. You don't have to be a super sewer, just someone who would like to test-drive one of my new patterns and see if they understand everything and see if everything works. I would like to have people who can sew the pattern fairly fast/soon so I can put the pattern out. Please email me if you would like to test for [email protected] I will pay you in goodies..:-)

Samples

So anbo is sending me new samples next week so I am trying to sort all the old ones out.. Some are going to be thrown out because..ugly..
Some I am going to keep!
The children's prints are going to Molly's daycare. They are going to frame some for the rooms in just cheap ikea frames and the rest is for arts and crafts...they will get enough for years!

Finished!

I finished my embroidery from blackbirds design. It was so much fun to do!

It is time again to sign-up for Pink and Barbara's Stitchery club! We are going to be making this pillow and another small suprise project this spring. The price is 195 kr per month and you will be getting a little package in the mail every month for 3 months.
