Pink and Barbara

Last weekend

So I thought I had written a post about last weekend but apparently I did not :-)

I finshed a pair of pants, blouse and cardigan for Molly from the fabric I showed you the week before:

Here is a better picture of the cardigan with some other clothes. It turned out wonderful! I used needles nr 4 and the fleece artist yarn. There were some strange white specks in the yarn but still it was ok and it blocked out very nice..
As you might be able to see in the picture Molly is a bit red in her face. It seems that she has an allergie of some sorts for food. We haven't been able to find what food jet. Paprika is ok with home made food but from jar-food she gets really red in her face. It doesn't hurt of itch or anything it is just a bit red. A couple of days ago we tried a new brand that says they are 100% natural  and she also got the rash on her private area  where it did hurt and itch and she just cried all day when she had to pee. I felt so sorry for her. But now we got a salve and I hope she will be better soon.

So just a wonderfull weekend! I am a bit behind on the things I was surpossed to do because of Molly beeing home from daycare so the could walk around without a diapar.. But she is better now! Just now I am getting sick... But I am hoping to get some things done this weekend as I am having a cleaning weekend...

a new quilt for Molly

I made this new supersoft quilt for Molly out of Shannon Fabrics Cuddle Cube. It is so soft..she is playing and cuddling with it all day long! It was also so fast and easy to sew...always nice!

A quilty weekend

 
 

 
I had a wonderful weekend. Weronica was here and we planned to sew the whole Saturday. Saturday night we decided we would even meet Sunday. So I had a whole weekend of sewing.

  
I finished my quilt. I made hexagons on the machine and it was a lot of fun and it went fast! I will be having a class to teach the technique as well. You can read about it here. It will also be in the quilt exibition on the 27th of August at my open house in Surahammars, Folkets Hus.

 
Molly had a good time too watching us. Weronica finished her Bargello Quilt and Molly just loved the colors of it.

 
 I hope whe will want to have a sew weekend next weekend as well!

A bit of everything...

I am a bit behind in my blogging ...so here is a post with a bit of everything...

I was sewing on a hexagon quilt. So I had these small scrapbags as starter-kits for people..

Well and ofcourse there is Molly is growing and loves her food. This is a picture of here the first time in her high-chair...and loving it because you can look outside the window when your are that high:

A new desk

I have a new desk now in the living room since Molly just loves to watch me do stuff. She wants to be close but not all my lap all day. So she lays down playing with her toys and I can play with my stuff...

 

It works out great...Have a nice day!

new sheets and bag

Hi!

Since I have Molly I have been doing so much. It feels like I want to use every free minute I have. So as soon as she falls asleep I hurry of doing something..

I finished the bag I was making. 
I am going to use it as a my diaper-bag. Here are some picutres of the inside:

I also made a zipper bottom as I sometimes make. Here I have an extra set of clother for Molly and other things I don't use that often.

I have also made some new sheets for Molly to match the basket quilt I am going to be making:

The design is from Black Bird Design in the Friendship Garden book.

A bit of everything

This weekend Dorry from Quilt-it and Dotty was here. She teached a class for the weekendbag and for broderi perse at my local quilt-guild. We had so much fun! Above you see my bag. I have to attach more binding and handles.

And here is Molly

So molly is now 12 weeks and doing great! She is growing fast and is so sweet. She is still sleeping all nights for 10-12 hours! So I have a good nights sleep and I have some time every morning for quilting and stuff...

My friend had twins some years ago a boy and a girl. She gave me all her clothes. She packed all of it according to size. So we have 2 big bin-bags in the garage and take out the right sizes when we need it. She now has size 62-68. It is so nice not to have to buy things like white normal bodies and pyamas and stuff.. 
So I gave my friend Babette the boy clothes and Molly now has the girl clothes:

I have also been getting fun stuff in the mail. I got a package of Marleen from Belgien and Sharon from Australia! Thank you girls!

A bit of everything...

Hi!

 This is a post with just a bit of everything in it.

It looks like spring is finally coming to Sweden. The snow is melting a bit and it has been sunny for some days, which really makes me happy!

I was knitting on my shawl. I had to rip back a bit and start over. It is I am sorry to say the most boring knitting ever.  So I started my Sin Miedo socks. They look great! I have learned to cable without a cable needle on these socks and it working well. They are fast as well because I am so curious obout how it will look and what to knit next.

I have also been trying to bake my own bread again and I think I have the right formula now!

Molly is doing well. This week she has discoverd her hands so she is cewing  and slobbering on them:-) This is a video I made this morning:
