Hi!
My cousin went home on Monday and I am still recovering..*lol* We always have so much planned and have so little time.
On Thursday we started sewing as you could see in my last blog entry. On Wednesday we went into town and bought fabrics, new dinner plates and loads of other stuff. That night we had a sewing bee at our house.
On Thursday I helped Andrea finish her quilt. The pattern is called Elisabeth from the book Blendend quilts. We used triangles on a roll. Andrea normally sews everything by hand so this was her second quilt made by machine.
Friday we went to Syfestivalen. That is a fair every spring and Autumn with all things sewing related. I found my fabrics to continue my SBS and some small things. Andrea bought some things as well. That night we went to our sewing weekend. The weekend is always on a small island outside of Västerås. It is a very old house. In the summer it is used for summer camp for children with special needs. Doesn't it look very Swedish...
I spent that weekend starting my SBS again. Andrea spent it handsewing as well...this was our little corner...
She is working on this quilt and is almost finished. She bought this quilt as a kit by Petra Prins
I really like this quilt. I would like to make it a bit lighter but love it! So as I said...trying to get back on track with the housework and washing and stuff...and hopefully get back into the sewing tomorrow. I will get back with some more pictures of the SBS and other things...
See you then?!
