Doesn't this looks sad...even my plant gave up the will to live...*s*
I have this insane collection of tea-things. I have so many teacups that DH have said that no more teacups are coming into our house. Can you believe it. I also wanted them to be more prominent in our house.
So I have been thinking about a new way to show them off. Because the other 4 shelves I had are not enough. So I started thinking about some new shelves above my cupboard in the kitchen. So after a trip to the store we got some shelves and screws and so on. I put a white-wash coat on it.
This is what it looks like now:
Nice huh? I am so happy with it! Now I can buy some more cups.
This is my little corner where I usually sit and do my quilting and sewing and knitting and so on. It really is my little place to sit and calm down and I love it..
I am spoiling myself tonight with a good cup of tea and some quilting and a piece of fine chocolate.
This quilt is my Diamonds quilt. I give lessons in hand piecing with this quilt. I took the top with me last times. I started quilting it and got half way trough ( or 70% as my DH calculated) and stopped for a while and the little while got longer and longer. Then my MIL called and wanted me to give the class for some of her friends ...next weekend. Next weekend...aghrrrrrrrh ..so now I am back to quilting in a bit of a panic to get it finished on time, cause it doesn't look pretty right now, it has strange borders on the sides to make it fit better in the hoop and frame. So anyway..back to the quilting...
